This was the first time metal casting has been done at USCB.  Students from other classes stopped by to see the molten metal being poured.  Most of the students helped pour and we did 4 heats of aluminum in one class period.

Above shows a raw casting just removed from the mold and  to the right a student cutting away the gating of their casting and cleaning it up.
