3D Design is finishing up their first project called “Material Transformation.”  Students had to model a new version of the found object they selected from another material.  They could only use one adhesive or cold connection material to construct their sculptures + the scale had to be changed.  With Critique next week, more images will follow to show other students results.

This student is building a fire extinguisher out of wooden matches.  With the introduction of the project, historical references were made, that include Claes Oldenburg’s soft sculpture and his element of humor.
